Efedito
belongs to a family with long tradition in drawing. Known was already his grand-grand
father, who was also named Efedito, in the 1850s when he painted one of the walls
of his building with some white colour, this was afterwards followed by many and
provides a completely plausible explanation to the white villages of Andalucia,
Spain. Later on, one of the daughters of this old man married the one
who would later never become the grand father of our character, this one did not
make it to the thirties but in anycase was able to paint the nails of his wife
once or twice keeping in this way the drawing tradition safe from the new tendencies
of the time.
